A lot of you guys must be aware about our Alwar trip, we went in the month of March. I know it’s been too late but I was waiting for the perfect time to share my experience with you all. Though March was okay but I’ll definitely not say… it was the best time to visit Alwar as it was too hot in the noon, morning and evening were soothing. The best season to visit Alwar is from October end to February.
Since Alwar is just 2.5 to 3 hrs drive from Delhi, we decided to go for the road trip. Ravi picked up his bullet and we left Delhi 4 o’clock in the morning. We stayed in Sariska at this beautiful property Sariska Tiger Camp Resort. The resort was budget friendly, well maintained and staffs were also humble and cooperative. The rooms were based on ethnic village theme and the view from resort was mesmerizing.
I have been to many places in Rajasthan and whenever I visit a new place in Rajasthan, I never get disappointed, every time it’s wonderful and different experience all together. The beauty of the place, people and culture always excites me, no matter how many times I visit Rajasthan. Few sightseeing places are located in Alwar city and few are in Sariska, nearby where we stayed.
On day 1, we decided to visit near by places and went to Siliserh lake, Sariska Palace and Sariska National Park was also nearby but we didn’t go there as we got tired.
On day 2, we got fresh, had sumptuous breakfast by the pool with breathtaking mountain view and headed to Alwar city. We visited Alwar Fort, Moosi Maharani ki Chhatri, Sagar Pond, Baba Quila. In the evening, we explored the city and tried some street food and returned back to the resort.
On Day 3, we chilled at the resort only and just went for casual bullet ride to feel the fresh air and treat our eyes with gorgeous greenery and mountain view around. And, in the evening we headed back to Delhi.
