Mukteshwar – Part 1

Happy Friday everyone!
If you are following me on insta, then you must be knowing that I had the most mesmerising trip to the hills and trust me it was a big relief from the scorching unbearable heat in delhi. We packed our bags and headed to Mukteshwar which is situated in Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand, Nainital district.
Mukteshwar is a pleasing destination and got its name from a 350 years old temple of Lord Shiva, Mukteshwar Dham. One can see marvellous views of the imposing Himalayan range from the top of this mountain where the temple is situated. I am excited to share my experience with you guys and here’s presenting daywise:
DAY 1: We reached Nainital around 6 o’clock in the morning, booked cab there and headed straight to Mukteshwar. Reaching there is quite a task if you opt for public transport. If you are planning to go to Mukteshwar and want to opt for public transport, I have got all the information for you guys and it’s quite challenging. You could take a bus or volvo from Anand Vihar ISBT to Nainital or a train from New Delhi to Kathgodam and again take bus from Kathgodam to Nainital. You can get local bus from Nainital to Bhatelia to Bhowali. Another option is also there, catch a train from New Delhi to Haldwani and from Haldwani you can get direct bus for Bhowali. After reaching Bhowali, you can get sharing four wheelers to reach Mukteshwar. You need to follow the route vice versa to return back and remember last bus from Bhowali to Nainital and Kathgodam is at 3 pm.
We stayed in KMVN tourist guest house and it is a budget friendly and clean guest house. They have rooms starting from 3200 /- to 6500/- (buffet breakfast and dinner included). The view of Himalayan range was mesmerising from our room. We got ready, had breakfast, rested for few hours and got up around 4 pm. We went for a walk in the evening enjoyed nature’s beauty, got some pictures clicked, came back and sat in our balcony and enjoyed evening snacks, the view & cool breeze.
I wore this Multicolor aztec print jacket and underneath it I wore lace detail solid black cami to highlight the print. Combined these with distressed shorts and a pair of Black ankle high quilted shoes. I styled the outfit by adding golden-black chain choker which I recently made and black & white colorblock bracelet.
Outfit details:

Choker: DIY
Bracelet: Forever 21
Hope you guys enjoyed reading the post and stay tuned for the rest parts of the blog !
