The story of the evolution of the saree runs parallel to the history of India and thousands of years of Indian tradition is woven into sarees. There is nothing more quintessentially Indian than a saree. It’s an outfit that defines a woman. It holds strength, it holds femininity, and it holds power. It is a garment that transforms every woman into a strong and graceful lady.
My love for saree is well known on the blog, you can find it here
and many more to come. In today’s post, I’m totally depicting the culture and tradition of India. I shot this look with my friend Kamna, we both opted for Banarasi Saree having similar pattern but different color. We chose to play a lot with color contrast and ethnic jewelries. For location, we chose a monument to create rustic yet royal look. We wore Banarasi saree, kept pleated pallu at the front and styled it with gold nath and huge jhumkas. We kept our hair open and adorned it with fuschia sindoor (vermillion) and lastly completed the look with Red bindi to add more Indian essence to the look. Hope you liked this complete Indian look.
